Coffee Nights and Mentorship Session Inspires Kisii University Nutrition Students
The Kisii University Nutrition and Dietetics Students Association (KUNDSA) successfully hosted the 2023 Coffee Nights and Mentorship Session, a transformative event designed to inspire, mentor, and guide future nutrition professionals.
The session brought together students and leading experts in the field, featuring Ann Matoke, Head of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at Oasis Hospitals, and Mutua Alex, a Lecturer FOND Department in kisii university
In her address, Ann Matoke emphasized the critical role of nutritionists in modern healthcare, highlighting the need for continuous professional development, innovation in practice, and dedication to ethical standards. She encouraged students to embrace emerging opportunities in clinical nutrition, research, and public health while reminding them that passion and persistence are key to success.
